Santa Claus is coming to town in December. Come have breakfast with
Mr. and Mrs. Claus on Goddard High School's "Mane Street," 2500 S. 199th St.
West. Have your picture taken with Santa, participate in games and activities and
enjoy entertainment provided by Goddard's Performing Arts students.

Easter Egg Hunt
Each spring the Easter Bunny comes to Goddard
for the annual Easter Egg Hunt held on the grounds of Robert Goddard Middle
School, 301 S. Main. The event is for children from preschool to 3rd
grade. Bring your Easter basket and join the fun! Sponsored by the Goddard
Activities Committee & supported by the Goddard Keen Klub.
4th of July Celebration
Celebrate with the Goddard Community at the annual 4th of July Celebration.
This event is held at the ball diamonds west of Robert Goddard Middle
School, 301 S. Main. Come and enjoy FREE food & entertainment. Join
the community softball game or just set, relax and enjoy the banjo band.
At dusk view the electronic firework display then go for a refreshing swim in
the Goddard City Pool. Sponsored by the Goddard Lions Club & the Goddard
Activities Committee.
Garage Sale Days - Spring
Each Spring the Goddard Community joins together for a City Wide Garage Sale
that is sponsored and organized by the Goddard Lions Club. Whether you are
shopping or selling or both, you are welcome & encouraged to participate!

Held the first weekend of October, the Goddard Lions Club Fall Festival has
games and activities for kids as well as crafts, arts and health related booths.
Events include a parade, kid games, bingo, raffles and much more.
Goddard Fall Festival of Bands - October

Held in conjunction with the Goddard Fall Festival, this event brings in high
school bands from across the state for a day of clinics. The day is
concluded with a performance competition.

Pancake Feed - February

Held the third Saturday in February, the Goddard Lions Club serves up great
pancakes and homemade sausage for the community.
Seniors Community Meal

First and third Wednesday of each month from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Medicalodge of Goddard
provides a Community Meal for all seniors 55 and older from Goddard and the
surrounding communities. The charge for each meal is $4.00, which includes
a full warm meal, dessert and a drink. People are encouraged to stay for
the meal, but they may also take them to go. Free blood pressure checks
will be provided to all meal participants. If you plan to attend, please

With the arrival of November comes the FREE
Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Members of the Goddard Keen Klub and the
Goddard Activities Committee plan and prepare a traditional feast and Goddard
school students help serve.
Walking Tracks
The Goddard High School Track is available during the school year to all
patrons Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 am and 2:40 to 7:30 pm. In
case of inclement weather, the period from 2:40 to 5:30 pm, may be reserved for
athletic practices. The track may also be used from 7:50 am to 2:40 pm,
however patrons are asked to move to off-track positions while physical
education classes are using the track.
Goddard's Discovery and Challenger Intermediate schools track is also open year round during none school hours for persons wishing to walk or run.
