City of Goddard Kansas Departments

Departments

 Administrative offices are located at the Goddard City Hall located at 118 N. Main. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, excluding holidays. Emergency Services are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling 911.

Administrative offices perform multiple functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, utility billing and data processing.

City water/sewer bills may be paid at City Hall. Answers to questions regarding water bills may be obtained by calling 316-794-2441.

Employment

The City of Goddard employs all personnel under a merit system of personnel administration. The merit system requires that all personnel transactions be based on individual ability and competence and that all employees meet acceptable levels of performance.

The Administration Department is located within City Hall, and includes the offices of the City Administrator , City Clerk, City Treasurer, and Utility Clerk.
Goddard's Maintenance Department is responsible for all aspects of city maintenance and public works.

The Planning Commission consists of seven members. Each member is appointed by the City Council to a three-year term.
